Helmet-to-Boot Donations
Troxel LLC and Ariat International were both featured on NBC’s Today Show with significant
donations related to the show’s “Lend a Hand” program that raises money for smalltown
charities across the nation. Through this program, the equestrian companies donated
product to the Eagle Mount Therapeutic Riding Center in Bozeman, Mont. Troxel donated
$10,000 worth of ASTM/SEI-certified
equestrian helmets, enough for more than
100 riders. Ariat donated enough footwear
and apparel to outfit
more than 50 riders.
Palm Hits the Airwaves
World champion trainer Lynn Palm and
her husband, Cyril Pittion-Rossillon, share
their horsemanship knowledge in Palm
Partnership Training, airing on the horsesport
network HRTV beginning July 2010.
The program can be viewed on DISH Network
channel 404, Verizon Fios channel
316, AT&T U-Verse on channel 672, and on
many local cable systems. Programming
will feature such subjects as saddle fitting
with Pittion-Rossillon and Palm’s preparation
for this fall’s Alltech
FEI World Equestrian
Games in Lexington, Ky.
Broadcast episodes air on
Mondays at 7:00 p.m.
Eastern time and repeat
at 7:00 p.m. Pacific time.
