Stainless Steel Lifeline 4
A Proven Safety Switch, Made Even Tougher
The standard Lifeline 4 product has a proven track record for providing
your personnel constant access to an emergency stop alongside
conveyors and around awkwardly-shaped machinery. But there
are some applications where the standard Lifeline 4 is not suitable.
In response, Rockwell Automation has introduced the Stainless
Steel Lifeline 4 - the only investment cast stainless steel cable pull
switch on the market. With its IP66/IP67 enclosure rating, it’s an
ideal solution for use on long conveyor systems in harsh environments,
e.g. outdoor applications or washdown areas. In addition,
the 316 stainless steel construction provides enhanced corrosion
resistance and is available with 2 N.C. safety contacts and 2 N.O.
auxiliary contacts in M20, ½in NPT or quick disconnect versions.
Offering the same functionality as the standard Lifeline 4, the Stainless
Steel Lifeline 4, however, differs in the following ways:
